Federal Employee Health Benefit • Coverage can continue for up to 24 months in nonpay status • New bill authorizing payment of FEHB • Options • Continue coverage • Terminate • Delay reinstatement (if applicable)
Federal Employee’s Group Life Insurance • Continue up to 12 months at no cost • Must elect to Continue or Terminate coverage after 12 months • Elect to Continue • Pay employee and agency share of the premiums • Must make payment arrangements before leaving for active duty • Reinstated automatically upon Return to Duty • Elect to Terminate • Right to convert to a non-group policy • Reinstated automatically upon Return to Duty

Thrift Savings Plan • May make retroactive contributions • Based on current TSP Form 1 • Receive package from HRO upon return to duty • TSP Form 41, required if you have a TSP Loan (Mandatory if you have a loan)
