  2. FAMILY PRE-MOBILIZATION BRIEFING To provide information, assistance and referrals to Military Families during the deployment process. Educate and simplify the process of receiving Military Entitlements and Benefits as well as referrals to various community resources to meet the specific needs of the Military Family during the deployment and reintegration process. MISSION

FAMILY PRE-MOBILIZATION BRIEFING Services We Offer • Serve as a conduit between (MPOC) Military Point of Contact, (FRSA) Family Readiness Support Assistance and Families • Educate and simplify Military Family Benefits and Entitlements • Provide Monthly Outreach Letters to all Families of the deployed units • Connecting Military Families with Community Organizations • Located in Armories across the state, MFAC’S serve as drop in centers • Referral services for counseling resources • Referral for other resources

FAMILY PRE-MOBILIZATION BRIEFING Resources • Communication Issues – Rear Detachment Team, American Red Cross • ID Cards (DEERS) Enrollment –RAPID Location Sites • Financial and Property Household Issues – Community 211, Various Veterans Service Organizations, USA Cares, Operation Homefront • Legal – Referral to Military Judge Advocate General (JAG) for military related issues and Civil Community Advocates • VA Benefits and Entitlements – Tri Care Medical Benefits, Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Transition Assistance Advisor (TAA) • Urgent and Critical issues – Military Family Life Consultants (MFLC), Military Onesource, Local Public Assistance Centers, Chaplain • Youth Issues – New York National Guard Youth Program • Reintegration – Yellow Ribbon Team 
