  1. Research My research for existing graphics to use as inspiration

  2. What I have done I have looked at a variety of magazine covers of different genres and evaluated the outcomes. The magazines that I have analysed are all related to my possible magazine cover ideas. Some covers only use one image and others use multiple images. I have also noticed that some magazines include text on the cover describing the content of the magazine. In addition, I have looked at the different fonts used on each cover. I think that this has helped me decide which font would suit my magazine.

  3. Art - Aesthetica This is an art and culture magazine. This cover is focusing on Photography and relates to current exhibitions and events. The cover appears to have only used a couple of images to create the cover. Text was added as a banner across the top of the magazine cover and the layout is portrait. A bar code has been added in the bottom right-hand corner. The font used is very old fashioned which was unexpected – I thought that it would be quite modern as it includes a lot of contemporary art. The font is has serifs and is very bold.
