A Standards- Based System Works at Hodgkins • January- 321 students moved a level or in some cases (45) 2 levels! = 48% of our students K-5 Readiness: L: 101 M: 108 Level 1 L: 149 M: 139 Level 2 L: 189 M: 205 Level 3 L: 63 M: 54 Level 4 L: 51 M: 59 Level 5 L: 36 M: 56 Level 6 and up: L: 38 M: 6
A Standards- Based System Works at Hodgkins • Departmentalized Primary and Intermediate • Mixed-age classrooms throughout the building • Time is truly the variable, and learning is the constant at Hodgkins • Discipline referrals are down by 59% from 2009-2010. • Parent Involvement is significantly increased! • Weekly Newsletter, website, ROTO call, Parent Coffees, Volunteer Committee, Monthly parent nights, classes
