Word-Crossing Logo. Mauritius Escher. The logo that we created was inspired by Maurits Cornelis Escher’s studies around infinity: he invented the so called “Moebius strip”, a surface with only one side and one boundary component.

The logo that we created was inspired by Maurits Cornelis Escher’s studies around infinity: he invented the so called “Moebius strip”, a surface with only one side and one boundary component. In fact, It can be made using a strip of paper by gluing the two ends together with a half-twist.
The two components of the logo remember us of two rings, like the wedding rings. These rings symbolize “marriage” and the meeting of two different cultures.
More logos put together can form a spiral that looks like (recalls)the DNA; this refers to the concept of life so it brings you to think about a bond between different lives.
We created a module with nine sub-modules; the module contains nine squares and four circles. You obtain a square by joining the centres of the circles. The combination of two or more modules, with also a change of colour, gives the logo more liveliness.
