Near Term – R.C. and Oct 2011Goals and Objectives • Conceptual agreement and commitment of the strategy • Exposure and visibility to caCIS project • Meaningful communication that ensures understanding of the architectural vision AND the broad journey towards it • Participation in review processes and provision of concrete feedback • Indication that vendors will move in the direction • Validation of the Architecture through direct involvement • Validate and demonstrate project deliverables and working interoperability through Reference Implementation/Pilot

  3. Short Term Tactics 1. Conceptual agreement and commitment of the strategy • SAIF-F alignment • Analysis and Architecture on the readiness of materials • IM on public WIKI • …….

  4. Short Term Tactics 2. Exposure and visibility to caCIS project • Establish bi-directional communications with Stakeholders • Inform and involve for maximum benefit • Two hour webinar information sessions scheduled on a monthly basis • Provide information on the project, sharing of artifacts and specifications • Targeted at the broader NCCCP community, including all Vendors, Clients and End-users.??

Participation in review processes and provision of concrete feedback • Publication of all artifacts in various states of readiness. • packaged materials based on audience • Interested Vendors/Stakeholdersare encouraged to visit the caCIS project Wiki to access the materials and provide feedback • Fully elaborated, well layered specifications stack to be vetted by committed stakeholders Outcome….. insight from the Vendor/Stakeholdercommunities’ opinions

Indication that Vendors and Clinicians will participate • Engagement in the elaboration, refinement and validation of the architecture and the emerging specifications • Primary Focus Project 18 • NCCCP Early Implementer Sites • NCCCP Early Implementer Vendor (Varian, Cerner, Allscripts) • Full buy-in of the architecture evidenced through alignment with internal IT plans. • Reach out to others via webinar sessions • Interested Vendors • Key Cancer Centers and NCCCP members

Indication that Vendors and Clinicians will align in our direction – continued • Validate and demonstrate project deliverables and working interoperability • Participation in the Reference Implementation that aggregates the capabilities into a single deployable EHR system • Seek collaboration through • NCCCP Early Implementer Vendors (Varian, Cerner, Allscripts) • Reach out to other??? • Interested Vendors • O.H.T Community
