  2. Consider what is not ethics! • Not a matter of following one’s feelings and/or religion • Not the same as following the “law” • Not “what ever society accepts”, or “social norms”

  3. Then - What is Ethics….? terms of: • * Rights = Right to life, right to freedom from injury and right to privacy. • Reasonable Obligations = Refrain from rape, stealing, murder, assault, slander and fraud • Virtues= Honesty, compassion, and loyalty • Rprivacy

Also – Consider… • 2. ….ethics refers to the study and development of our own ethical standards. • Continue to examine your own standards Keep them reasonable and well-founded. • Continue to study your own moral beliefs and moral conduct • Make sure that you and wherever you may work help to shape, live up to standards that are reasonable and solidly-based.
