What was the longest Ancient society? The most powerful? Can you name a famous leader from each of the societies? What was daily life like in each of these societies for the citizens? List at least three defining aspects.

  4. Part 3) The Middle Ages What is the Feudal system? Who was at the top? At the bottom? What is a fief? What caused the Black or Bubonic plague? What impact did the plague have on Europe? What was the controlling force in Medieval society? Problems? Can you explain some aspects of brutal justice? What was the Magna Carter and who was forced to sign it? Why did it take so long for the reformation to happen? Why were people afraid? Why were castles needed during the middle ages?

What were FOUR things that the reformation was trying to change? What were FOUR significant social developments during the Renaissance? Name some famous people who emerged during The Renaissance? Did the same developments occur in other parts of the world?

What is the Government’s role in the economy? How does Government policies influence consumer habits? Name one variable factor.
