Changes • 1700-1800’s early (migrate)…Ships…Sail powered ships • 1800’s Industrial Revolution…Steam powered ships- Colonizers to go into Africa (deep into the continent) • 1700’s people were migrating mainly for Exploration… • 1800’s people were migrating to Colonize Africa and Latin America • 1800’s L.A. gets in Independence…therefore they become Countries…(Nations)…they want people to come to their countries..Argentina…wants European migration • 1700’s-1800’s Migration---Slaves(Africa) but then slavery is abolished with the Latin America Independence and the Civil War…end of it with Brazil… • 1800’s Industrial Revolution creates things like trains which allow people to populate other other via trains.

  4. Continuities • Factors; People wanted to have a better life • People used the same transportation methods…long range….ships
