  4. Invitation for action to organizers Proceedings: Call for Action + annotations Executive summary for policy & practice 2. Multi-lingual database promising/good policies, practices, strategies, etc with involvement of ‘sister organizations’ 3. …. e.g. Wiki on EduSUMMIT+ EduSUMMIT

  5. Responsibility participants summit Bring ‘Call for Action’ under attention of relevant stakeholders in own country: policy – practice – research! Needed: executive summary coordination in case of >1 participant/c EduSUMMIT

Need for strategical thinking about implementation Balance between top-down and bottom-up: top-down: direction, conditions bottom-up: exemplary practices, etc Strategy of ‘courage and care’ courage to develop/build new educational practices care for the existing system and its people, e.g. awareness building on vision (e.g. transformation needed) professional development EduSUMMIT

Importance of R&D – design research Design research: to design/develop an intervention (e.g. program, T/L strategy, process, product, system, etc) with the purpose to improve practice to contribute to body of knowledge (and possibly: to inform decision making and policy development) Partnerships of researchers and practitioners EduSUMMIT
