Incident Reporting • All "serious incidents" must be reported immediately to Alberta Labor. • Injury or incident that results in hospital admittance or death of a worker • Unplanned or uncontrolled explosion, fire, or flood that causes (or had the potential to cause) a serious injury • Collapse or failure of any part of a building or structure or worksite equipment

  29. Working in a Lab • Housekeeping rules: • General cleanliness • No gloves or lab coats outside of lab • Label containers (so others know if substance is hazardous) • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor or Safety Committee member
