1ST Theme: THE MOUNTAIN(V.16)The place of solitude and a place to meet the crowds.

2nd Theme: WORSHIP(V.17)Jesus the object of true worship.He is the only object of worship.

3rd Theme: FAITH(V.17)Faith not doubtJesus found great faith in his ministry.
Verse 17 17 “When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. ”
Matthew 8:10 10 “…assuredly I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel”.
Matthew 9:2 2 “Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you.”
Matthew 9:22 22 “Be of good cheer, daughter, your faith has made you well.”
4th Theme: AUTHORITY (V.18)Jesus claim to possess universal authority.
Verse18 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth..”
“exousia” (authority) …refers to the freedom and right to speak and act as one pleases. God is holy and righteous to make all decisions that pleases Him.
5th Theme: THE NATIONS(V.19)The whole world is to become the theater of the church’s work and mission.
Verse 19 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,.”
6th Theme: DISCIPLESHIP (V.19)The church is to make disciples that makes disciples.

John 8:31 31 “If you abide in my word, then you are truly my disciples.”

7TH Theme: BAPTISM (V.19)Baptism is a sign of God’s covenant promise. A sign of personal faith.

“baptize” literally means to immerse in water A symbol of spiritual cleansing.
Mark 16:16 16 “He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.”
8th Theme: THE TRINITY (V.19)One Name Is ThreeFather, Son & Holy Spirit.

9th Theme: TEACHING (V.20)Disciples are made by teaching and are nurtured by teaching.

10th Theme: GOD’S PRESENCE (V.20)Jesus was named ImmanuelGod is with us.

CONCLUSION Making Disciples is a mandate of the Master to His church.
ROMANS 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
