Acts 3:19-21 “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.”
THIS IS WHAT GOD REQUIRES: • Repent and returnback to HIM with all our heart. • Realize that redemptionand forgiveness are through the blood of Christ • Receive the refreshingthat comes from the Presence of the Lord • Resolve in your heart: God will bring complete restorationin your life!
REPENTANCE: Remorse; responsibility; resolute– Mark 1:15; Acts 3:19; 26:20 • REDEMPTION: Recovery; retrieval; repossession – Exodus 6:6; Psalm 106:10; Psalm 103:4; Ephesians 1:7
REFRESHING: Relief; refuel; revive Romans 15:32; 2 Timothy 1:16 • Relief: Refreshment and relaxation from burdensome circumstances (Acts 3:20) • Encouragement: A state of cheer after a difficult time (Acts 3:20)
RESTORATION: Rebuilding; renewal; reinstatement– Galatians 6:1; Matthew 15:31
