  4. Triple beam balance • Used to measurer the mass of an object • Unit: grams

  5. TEST TUBE • Used to hold a liquid.

  6. APRON • Used to protect skin and clothing

  7. BUNSEN BURNER • Used to heat substances

  8. GRADUATED CYLINDER • Used to measure the volume of a liquid • Unit = liters

  9. MICROSCOPE • Used to look closely at very small living or non living things

  10. METRIC RULER • Used to measure length • Unit: meters

  11. MEDICINE DROPPER • Used to dispense very small amounts of a liquid • Also called an “eye dropper”
