5. STUDENTS • Recruit majority from PA, Ohio and West Virginia. • National Recruitment Day • 75% direct from high school -18-19 years old • Evening – Non-traditional Student • Class size – range 15-35 • Quarters: January, April, July, and October • Year round – 24-month programs

6. Certificate Programs • Short Term – 6, 9, 12, or 15 months. • Offer evenings and weekend schedule • Non-traditional students

8. ADJUNCT FACULTY • Hired for specific course Day – 11 week quarter - classes - five days a week - block schedule-days vary - NFC only Evening – Compressed schedules 5 ½ Weeks Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - 5:45 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.

9. Medical Evening • Eleven Weeks • Offered - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday • 5:45 p.m. – 10:15 p.m. – One night per week Online Coursework • 51/2 week schedule • Mostly General Education Classes • English • Math • Critical Thinking • Ethics • Human Relations

11. UNIVERSAL CURRICULUM Consists of: • Syllabi • Detailed Class Outlines (lesson plans) • Handouts • Tests and Quizzes

12. FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM • Goal – improve quality of teaching • Train faculty on instructional techniques that work at PTI. • Train on technology in the classroom and PTI recordkeeping systems • Adjunct – required 8 hours pre-service training and 3 hours in-service

13. COMPENSATIONLevel 11 coursework $41 per hourLevel 11A coursework $55 per hour

14. Pay flat rate per course based on number of class hours (33 hour, 44 hours, and 55 hours) • Compensation includes: • Prep time • Grading • Office hours • Faculty Development Training
