  3. Profession Before The War He was a Deputy Surveyor and Frontier Scout before being elected to a Justice of the Peace, and Captain of a Militia company in Nacogdoches.

  4. Position In The War During The Civil War john reagan was a Confederate Postmaster General.

  5. After The War On May 9,1865, Jefferson Davis, former Texas govener Francis R. Lubbock, and John Reagan were captured. They were captured by Union soldiers and were taken by to Fort Warren in Boston Harbor. For the next twenty two weeks Reagan was in solitary confinement.

  6. When and How did he die John Reagan died on March 6,1905, by Pneumonia and was buried in Palestine,Texas.
