  1. Agreement (between articles, adjectives, and question words)

Agreement • Spanish adjectives, articles, and question words will change its ending to match the gender and number of the noun it describes. • If the noun is female, then the adjective will be female • If the noun is male then the adjective will be male. • If the noun is singular, then the adjective will be singular • If the noun is plural then the adjective will be plural.

  3. If the noun is singular, then the adjective will be singular • If the noun is plural then the adjective will be plural.

  4. Articles change gender and number. • All Spanish nouns (things) are either male or female. The article changes to match the gender and number. Female Male La nariz El pelo La cara El bigote Las orejas Los ojos La or Las Female El or Los Male

  5. Adjectives change gender and number. Por ejemplo: Las casas son blancas. El gato es blanco.

  6. Question Words sometimes change gender and number. Por ejemplo: ¿Cuántos hermanos tienes? ¿Cuálesclases tienes? ¿Quiénes son tus companeros? Don’t forget the accent in question words!
