  4. What is happening in this picture?

  5. 1. A noun is possessive if a phrase can be changed to say that an item or idea belongs to someone else. Example:The musket that belongs to Pa was lost. Pa’s musket was lost. For a noun to be possessive it has to own something.

  6. Possessive Nouns name who or what has or owns something. 2. Form a singular possessive noun by adding ‘s. • Examples: Boy’s, Girl’s, Judy’s, Sister’s • The boy’spuppy is brown. Singular Possessive Nouns
