Big 6 is a step by step guide to help someone achieve a goal or come to a conclusion. There are 6 steps that can easily be followed once fully understood. If the steps are followed verbatim, the end result will be very organized and clear. Overview

Very effective A streamline method for producing a project Easy to follow/hard to get off track. The end product comes out well prepared. A simple method put into thorough detail. I would highly recommend giving it a try. My appraisal of big 6
This lesson plan seemed very easy to follow. It does seem to be a little time consuming. The plan estimates 3 or 4 class periods, which to me seems like a lot of time for an assignment. There is some redundancy, but I think this would provide for a very detailed plan. Some steps are more detailed than others. For instance Step 3.0 is very simple and does not require a lot of information. Step 5 on the other hand requires quite a bit of information. Considering the plan is based on an assessment, step 5 should be robust. There should be a lot of analyzing data and putting figures into perspective just as step 5 details. The grading of the assignment seems a little loose. I understand though as I could not imagine an exact grade scale that would pertain to this assignment and to an individual. The assignment is more designed for end result data than it is for grading. Reflection of lesson plan: the student council’s math problems (six grade math) cont.
Overall it sounds like it is a solid plan and the results would be intriguing. I think the anticipation to find out the results would keep the students very interested and focused. This in my mind is a good plan. Step 6 steps are followed and detailed verbatim. Detail is the key with Big 6. This plan is spot on.
