  7. How it Works Users • Load documents into scan tray • Select “Apps” on panel interface / Select “ScanPath” • Select type of document to convert to • Enter email address or specify folder on network to send to • Press “Enter”

How it Works • ScanPath installs on a non-dedicated server at the customer’s location • Server is “invisible” and not accessible by users • Scanned documents get OCR’d (optical character recognition) • Automatically converts scanned images of text into documents with editable text • Single ScanPath server can handle up to 50 separate bizhub MFPs • Each bizhub MFP requires a ScanPath license
