Facts about Helen • She Served as the president of several professional organizations in1971. • She went to Harvard Observatory to work with Cannon and Harlow Sharply, who were investigating star clusters. • She Married Frank Hogg, who was studying astronomy at Harvard, and together they had three children. • She entered Mount Holyoke College with the intention of studying chemistry,but in 1925 she changed her mind and began her study of astronomy
