  2. The Baptism of Jesusin the River Jordan “This is mybeloved Son, in whom I amwell pleased.” 1 Jesus accepts his mission; he is baptized by John and recognized by his Father. When have you felt most loved by God?

  3. The Wedding at Cana “Do whateverhe tellsyou.” 2 At Mary’s urging, Jesus works his first miracle. When did you do the right thing without making it a big deal?

  4. The Proclamation ofthe Kingdom of God “Seekfirst the kingdomof God.” 3 Jesus teaches about the peace, justice & mercy God wants for all people. When have you shown mercy to someone?

  5. The Transfiguration of Jesus on Mount Tabor “Lord, it is good that weare here.” 4 Jesus shows his radiant, true form to three apostles. When have you let others see your best, truest self?

  6. The Institution of the Eucharist at the Last Supper 5 “Do this in memoryof me.” Jesus gives himself as food and drink in the first Eucharist. How will you remember and give honor to the sacrifice of Jesus?

When you pray… • Take time to be quiet, so you can hear God speaking to you in your heart. “This is my beloved child.” • Do what Jesus asks of you in prayer. “Do whatever he tells you.” • Know that prayer can be challenging, but it’s totally worth it! “The kingdom of God is…” • Be present to God! Don’t worry about what else is going on. “It is good to be here.” • Give your whole self in prayer, and pray often. “As often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, do this in memory of me.”

The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father and from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
