Be Thankful For Your Sutta! The year 2020 doesn’t fail to surprise me with things which I’d thought would never happen. Well, just look at how things have panned out throughout this year. One such news broke out a few days back. It was a Monday morning and the day started as usual with my perfect trio. It was me, my favourite menthol ciggy and coffee. While I was enjoying my ciggy, my not-so-active WhatsApp group was flooded with messages. At first, I thought it was someone’s birthday only to realise they were talking about some article. That very moment I received a call from my friend who informed me that flavoured cigarettes, including menthol, has been banned. The news had left me flabbergasted at first but thankfully I decided to Google it. That’s when I got to know that my friend, as always gave me the half- baked information. I came across few articles which confirmed that flavoured cigarette will get banned in California and not in India.

I’m so very thankful that I’m not in that part of the world where I would have to give up on one of my best things. The very thought of me not having to have them sends chill down my spine. I wish them all the strength and hope they sail through this time soon.
