European Doctoral Careers: • What are transferable skills? • Skills you have acquired during any activity in your life; • part-time work, previous full time jobs, first degree, taught postgraduate degree, current PhD projects, other projects in the community, parenting, hobbies, sports… • Virtually any experience can be analysed and the evidence used to articulate it’s transferability and made applicable to what you want to do in your next job.
