Amphibians • Live part of their life in water and part of their life on land • Most adult amphibians live on land, but need water to reproduce • Amphibians have thin moist skin and four legs • Video
Reptiles • Most have thick dry skin covered with scales • Reproduce on land • Reptiles breathe with lungs

Mammals • Mother’s take care of and feed their young milk. • Humans are mammals. • All mammals have fur or hair.
Invertebrates- Animals without back bones • Sponge • Cnidaria • Platyhelminthes • Nematoda • Mollusks • Arthropods • Echinodermata
Sponge • A sponge’s body is like a tube with a lot of holes in it. • They have some tissues but no organs
Cnidaria • Do NOT have heads or tails • Live in water • They have soft bodies with tentacles. • Hydras, sea anemones, jellyfish
Platyhelminthes- Flatworms • Bodies are flat • They have heads and tails • Do not have true organ systems • Some live in water while others live inside other animals
Nematoda- Roundworms • Have round bodies, a digestive system, and a simple nervous system • Live all over Earth, including inside plants and animals
Mollusks • They have a shell that may be either inside or outside of their body • 3 main body parts- foot, mantle and a compartment for internal organs • They have gills for breathing, jaws for capturing food, a circulatory system, and some have brains • Snails, clams octopuses
Arthropods • Insects, spiders, and crustations • There are more arthropods on Earth than any other animal • They have a tough outer skeleton, jointed legs, and a body made up of sections
Echinoderms - Starfish • Most have spiny skin and tubelike feet with suction cups • Skeleton is inside its body
