  2. WHAT IS SSAT? SSAT stands for Secondary School Admission Test. It is a standardized exam used to assess the abilities of students seeking admission in an independent school. It evaluates necessary verbal, math and reading skills students need to perform successfully. It is an indispensable tool to compare the applicants. SSAT is designed for students in elementary school (grades 3 and 4), middle school (grades 5 to 7) and upper (grades 8 to 11).
