HAITI. By Cole Miller 3 rd period. Haiti is located in the Caribbean sea which includes the western third of the Island of Hispaniola. Haiti’ has about 290 square miles of beaches some are rocky with cliff . Port-au prince is the capital of haiti.

  5. Most of haiti’s population is of African decent

  6. President Estime ruled for four years as a democracy. General Paul Magloire ruled the following years as dictatorship

  7. Jean claude Duvalier or “baby doc” he and his father was both dictator Rene Preval was elected in 2006

  8. January 2010 an 7.0 earthquake devastated Haiti, Between 46,000 and 85,000. people were killed
