  4. PROGRAMMING: REPORT OPERATIONS TEAM

  5. Overall Objectives • Reduce the invisibility and vulnerability of former victims of human trafficking through community education and facilitate integration into either home or Spanish society of victims by providing education, psychological rehabilitation, and vocational training and placement.

  6. Community Education • Build capacity of local stakeholders to identify victims of human trafficking and have knowledge of services available for victims.

  7. Language Instruction • Haven for Humanity will continue its highly successful English as a Second Language, Spanish as a Second Language accredited program.

  8. Personal Health & Stability • Case workers ensure that victims receive psychological counseling to meet their individual needs to recognize obstacles and overcome such issues to effectively integrate into society as a productive member.

  9. Professional Empowerment • Empower former victims to become productive members of society through job training and educational counseling.

Program Indicators and Monitoring and Evaluation Plan • Community Engagement • Bimonthly workshops to raise awareness on human trafficking • Workshop evaluations • Professional Empowerment Job Training • Language: ESL and DELES (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) certification • Academic skills: coursework, exams • Vocational skills: coursework, exams, internship

  18. Football Fantasy Camp • Location: FC Barcelona Field House • Plan: 5 fantasy camp tickets to be auctioned off during 2nd annual charity game • FC Barcelona will match funds raised from auction • Goal = €40,000

  19. Diane von Furstenberg Line • Design: Single ‘broken’ link to symbolize breaking the chains of slavery. Goal = €5 million Rodilla • Location: all 72 locations • Time frame: July & August • Plan: 60% of profits from every “Four Sandwich Special” • Goal = € 2 million

Ongoing email campaign • Each event and partner organization will have email sign-up lists for future contact • This will be used for future grassroots fundraising as well as a means to contact a wider audience for additional events to be held throughout the year • Will be linked to online fundraising page on the Haven for Humanity webpage.

The Body Shop Lamont Cranston • Soft Hands Kind Heart Hand Cream campaign against human trafficking • Donated: 50,000 GBP (81287.60 USD) • 15% to match the total grants obtained from USAID, UNESCO, the city of Barcelona and any additional donors. • Mr. Cranston has also agreed to extend this offer for an additional year.
