WMS Initiatives and Votes: • Wholesale Market Subcommittee (WMS) • http://www.ercot.com/content/wcm/key_documents_lists/76825/06.__WMS_Update_to_TAC_033116.ppt • High SASM Frequency and Prices: • Majority of SASMs are due to Forced Outages • High prices reflect a lack of SASM offers in RT • Concern with leaving DAM offers active for SASM • Education of QSE Operators as to timeline of notification and submitting offers • ERCOT exploring changing submission timeline • Participation in Reconfiguration SASM • System changes done in the middle of last year to address issues with settlement • Zero participation since the system change • Education of QSE Operators needed about resolution of Initial system/settlement issues • QMWG and WMS will continue to work on SASM issues. ERCOT Operations, Planning & IT Report • Annual ERS Report to TAC (Q&A Only) • http://www.ercot.com/content/wcm/key_documents_lists/76825/08._Operations__Planning__IT_Report.zip • ERS is procured 3 times annually for 4-month Standard Contract Terms • February through May • June through September • October through January • Participants may offer to provide ERS for one or more Time Periods: • Business Hours 1: 8AM to 1PM Monday-Friday* • Business Hours 2: 1PM to 4PM Monday-Friday* • Business Hours 3: 4PM to 8PM Monday-Friday* • Non-Business Hours: All other hours • *Except ERCOT Holidays • Time Periods are designed to allow flexibility for customers during traditional business hours • Time Periods have been in effect in current form since the June-September 2008 EILS Contract Period • ROS will continue to discuss ERS to determine where improvements can be achieved.
