QUIS is derived from the Latin verb quaerere, meaning “to seek or obtain.” inquisition – a questioning or examining that is often harsh or severe
prerequisite – • a privilege or profit that is provided in addition to one’s base salary • something that is necessary to an end or to the carrying out of a function
requisition – a demand or request (such as for supplies) made with proper authority
