  3. Public SLICE The Public SLICE site launched today, January 9, 2014. The Public SLICE site will provide the same power and capabilities of the EdFi system that South Carolina’s districts already have to the general public. Using the Public SLICE site users will be able to view and analyze academicand operational to better understand the state of education in South Carolina. The Public SLICE site is completely independent of the District SLICE site. The two systems primarily differ in that the Public SLICE site contains neither teacher nor student level data.

  6. What’s Next? • The next meeting of the SLICE working groups will be in Columbia on January 22nd. • This group will be discussing the next Training, Data & Development activities that the SLICE team will working on over then next 3 months. • Please join us if you can.
