  1. ICALEPCS Liason Peter Clout July 24th 2010

  2. Last ICALEPCS ISAC Meeting • On July 1st and 2nd Patrice LeDu and myself attended the ICALEPCS meeting in Versailles and at the Soleil synchrotron radiation facility. The majority of the meeting was concerning the program of the October 2011 meeting. • An excellent report was given by Paul Van Arsdall of the AdCom that he and Steve Azevedo attended. Paul made our case and in the meeting and also privately I believe that we made good progress in allaying the fears of that community joining the NPSS.

  3. Last ICALEPCS ISAC Meeting • The only way that we can achieve this I believe is by the community coming in as a new technical committee. • I have prepared a document for the members of the ISAC that addresses the issues involved. This is attached to the written report. • The 2013 meeting in San Francisco already has contracts in place and planning is underway through Livermore with Livermore taking the risk. • The chairman of the 2009 ICALEPCS presented a check of some of the proceeds to the chairman, Andy Gotz, of the 2011 meeting.

  4. Last ICALEPCS ISAC Meeting • One of the ISAC members from Knoxville, Karen White, head of SNS controls, I suggest we invite to the annual meeting. • The Los Alamos National Lab member of ISAC was unable to attend this meeting.
