  3. Trafficking of Blood Diamonds A Case study should include Liberia as well! There many be many countries that are involved in the conflict. Colonial boundaries may have ethnic groups split into various neighboring countries.

  4. Africa’s first World War! The Conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo involves 7 neighboring countries. Africa’s First World War!

  5. Mission in Sudan 20 year civil war between North & South Sudan! In the midst of the civil war; a crisis develops in the Darfur region of the country! Very complicated!

Are there scheduled elections? Often its is very difficult to rebuild and bring stability. UN Sanctions or pressure from the international community to get both sides to make a peace accord.
