  4. Overview of AUXINFO • AUXDATA cubes contain data entered after 15 March 2002, when AUXMIS was replaced by AUXDATA. • AUXMIS cubes contain data entered prior to 11 March 2002. bplatt@juno.com

  12. Using Available Buttons Each button on the top bar of the Member Activity cube provides a different aspect of the information displayed Take the “All Positions” button - bplatt@juno.com

  13. Using “All Positions” Button Clicking on the button brings a drop down menu of selections available. Data in the cube can be displayed for each listed choice individually or all together. bplatt@juno.com

  14. Using “All Positions” Button Mouse over “Action” then “Nest” and clicking on “Columns” will result in data indicated for each in separate columns bplatt@juno.com

  15. Using “All Years” Button The “All Years” button provides the opportunity to display the data for a specific Calendar or Fiscal Year. It further allows, by “drilling down, to display the data in the specific quarter, month, week or day that it was performed. bplatt@juno.com

  16. Using “All Years” Button Mouse over “Action” then “Nest” then click on “Columns” will result in the data displayed by Quarters bplatt@juno.com

  17. Using “All Years” Button Click on the “CY 2002” button brings this drop down menu. Click on “Down a Level” will display the data by Months. Repeat the process displays the data by weeks, and again by individual days. bplatt@juno.com

  18. Using “All Facilities” Button With the All Facilities button, one can determine what portion of the activity was performed by Aircraft, Boat,Radio or Unit resources, or any combination of the three. bplatt@juno.com

  19. Using “All Facilities” Button (cont’d) Clicking on Aircraft or Radio will provide options as to which type of resource performed the activity and clicking on the type will lead to the individual facility. bplatt@juno.com

  20. Using “All Facilities” Button (cont’d) Clicking on Boat breaks boats into their category Clicking on a category will lead to boats that fall into that category. bplatt@juno.com

  21. Using “All Missions” Button At the bottom of the Member Activities Cube opening screen, there is the All Missions button Clicking on the button brings up this menu. Initially the screen displays activity for each Mission. Clicking “Down a Level” the screen changes to activity for each Sub Mission bplatt@juno.com

  22. To Hide/Show Rows/Columns • To prevent rows or columns from being visible, click on the button that serves as the row or column label. • From the drop down menu, click on “Action” • From the next menu, select - - - bplatt@juno.com

  23. To Hide/Show Rows/Columns • - - from this menu, selecting “Hide Total” (or “Hide Sub Total” when available) will condense • the report by eliminating unnecessary info. • Clicking on “Hide/Show Rows” will result in the following pop up menu. bplatt@juno.com

  28. Measurers Clicking on the “Mission Hours” button will bring up the list of Measures, that is, what the number represent; Hours, ATONS Verified, VSC Count, etc. bplatt@juno.com

  31. Member Activities Cube (cont’d) • The Member Activities cube can be used to track hours for all facilities. • Boat, Radio, Aircraft hours can be shown by missions. bplatt@juno.com

  32. Member Activities Cube (cont’d) • To see facility mission activities, drill down to the division or flotilla level desired. • Click on Unit button, mouse over “Action” and click on “Hide/Show Columns” and click on “Clear All” to hide members bplatt@juno.com

  37. “Drilling” To a District or Lower • Technique by which you select the appropriate level you are looking for by moving down through (“drilling”) preceding levels. • Hold mouse over USCG-LANTAREA and PACAREA appear. Hold mouse over PACAREA-Districts 11, 13, 14, and 17 appear…..so on until you reach a unit. bplatt@juno.com

Uses of AUXINFO • Finding the average age of members in a District, Division, Flotilla • Number of hours or missions an individual or unit has in Safety Patrols, ATON, etc. • Which awards a member has earned • Locations of facilities • Who in your unit is Coxswain, Crew or AUXOP qualified,or a qualified Auxiliary Pilot. bplatt@juno.com
