What’s in Directories? • Only Registered Knights of Columbus site members are allowed into this section • Directories – contains current council information and website, GK, FS, Diocesan Deputy, District Deputy, Insurance General Agent along with their email addresses. Additionally it will show membership/insurance, charity and forms submissions. Please note that this information is derived and maintained from the Texas State Council database. If it is not right, please contact them! The Importance of Filing the 185! The only way that the Texas State Council knows who you are is by filing the Form 185. Don’t forget to send us your email address if you have one!

FINANCIAL SECRETARY TRAINING MEMBER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM • Forms 185 and 365 format is different in Member Management System • All Member Management reports can be saved to the computer of the preparer and then sent to State Council and District Deputy as an attachment to an email.
HOW DISTRICT DEPUTIES CAN HELP • Urge Financial Secretaries and Council officers to attend Financial Secretary training. • District Deputies should also attend to better understand the duties of a Financial Secretary (the most important person in the Council). • A District Deputy cannot be a Financial Secretary of a Council without approval from the State Deputy. • Form 990 reports are due each May. Check all your councils to be sure they submitted their IRS Form 990 reports in 2010
