Regional Assessment Program • Recognizes the success and dedication of the Regional Board and its volunteers • Serves as a great planning tool • Assesses the period from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014 (MY2013) • Grading Scale • 340-306 points Platinum 90% - 100% • 305-272 points Gold 80% - 89% • 271-238 points Silver 70% - 79% • 237-204 points Bronze 60% - 69% • Current assessment • 300/340 88% (Gold) • Administration (99/102) 97% • Coach (98/100) 98% • Referee (56/73) 77% • Finance (23/33) 70% • EXTRA & Secondary Programs & Community (18/32) 56% • Status – Due to Area July 1

Uniforms • Uniform ordering complete....waiting on a few last shipments.Having only week of practice made this crazier than usual.

Fields • All fields are being lined. • 3-4 have volunteers lining. • 1 U10 net was replaced • 1 U8 net was replaced • The goals from Legacy were moved to Harvest Elementary (Thanks John). Mike Petersen will pick up the old goals. • Paint was ordered. It should arrive next week. • New flags are in place at MMS, HES, and HB. • EES was mowed by Tracy but cost region $150.00
Fields • Coaches need to be reminded not to overuse the goal areas. They can move the goals if needed. At MMS the coaches can use the practice goals located on the sides of the field. They can be moved as needed - just make sure they have sandbags on them for anchors.
Fields • Crosswinds & Hope will need "winter" fertilizer / herbicide treatment in late Sept/early Oct. I don't know if we need to treat any of the other fields.Sprinkler Issues: EES has a broken sprinkler (AYSO installed the system, EES broke the sprinkler) and Hope Church has a leak before the main control valves. Any volunteers to fix or recommendations of someone to fix it for us?
AYSO Coach Trainer • 1 Trainer, 8 hours per week (was 15 hrs/week) • 10 weeks (was 6 weeks) • $4,800 (was $5,400)
Board Meetings The Regional Board shall fix, at its initial meeting each year (“annual meeting”), the time, date and place of each regular meeting of the Regional Board and send notice of such annual meeting to all participants in the program.
Board Meetings It shall be the policy of the Region to hold at least one board meeting in each month during the primary season and at least one every two months during the remainder of the year. The Regional Board shall provide for the taking of minutes of the proceedings at each meeting and make them available to the members of the Region.

Other • Proposal: Switch to one practice a week, 5:00 until, starting September 15 • Board position terms • Partner with Crosswinds for opening day • Propose donation to Harvest Volunteer Fire Department for helping with hose • Do we need to lock Crosswinds goals?
