Dudley Parking Study • Study Goals • Develop an accurate picture of parking conditions and issues in Dudley Square • Build upon past efforts: • Dudley Square Transportation & Air Quality Study (2001) • Dudley Square Transportation Action Plan (2009) • Dudley Square Parking Related Hurdles to Economic Growth (2012) • Define existing parking supply/demand issues through accurate data collection • Determine future parking issues as significant changes in land use occur • Propose solutions to address changes in parking demand over time: • Changes to curb-side regulations • Opportunities within major developments • Utilize progressive parking management strategies • Define roles of City, community, development teams, etc.

Dudley Parking Study • 6-month Schedule • Late September – Hired VHB (VanasseHangenBrustlin, Inc.) • October – Collect and synthesize information from past efforts • Late October (week of 10/28) – Site surveying of on- and off- street parking • November/December – Interpret data/project future changes and needs • January – Present findings and strategies to community for review and input • February – Present recommendations and implementation strategy to community
