Introduction • The Domestic Abuse Foundation was established in 2008 by Sally McGregor, a inspirational victim and survivor of domestic abuse. • DAF is a non for profit foundation and soley exists from donations • DAF is based in Melbourne, Australia and since Feburary 2008, now has coverage Australia wide. • DAF porvides free services including shelter, counselling, legal and medical advice to all victims of domestic abuse BUSM2392 Assignment 2

An identified need • Recently is has come to the attention of DAF management that current code of standards, specifically in the area of councelling, are outdated. • Therefore, a small internal team of staff members has been established to develop a new custom set of ethical standards, for the use with cliental of DAF.
