  2. Sickle cell anemia is a disease passed down through your family, it causes red blood cells to form in a odd crescent shape. Red blood cells are usually shaped like a frisbee.

  4. Symptoms don’t occur until after age 4. Pretty much all patients with Sickle Cell face painful phases, they can last for days. They hurt your backbones and your chest.

  5. Symptoms IncludeAbdominal Pain, Bone Pain, Breathlessness, Postpones growth & puberty, Fatigue, Fever, Jaundice, Paleness, Rapid Heart Rate, Ulcers on the lower legs, Chest Pains, Excessive Thirst, Frequent Urination, Painful and Prolonged Erections
