Drawing Warm Up • Vocabulary: • Perspective: • the art of drawing solid objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other when viewed from a particular point. Drawing: Draw a table in the room; top, legs, and other details of just the table. You do not have to draw items on the table, the chairs or other students. Just the table.

  2. Writing Warm Up • Art History Journal: Write ½ page about the artist’s work. • Artist: Claude Monet Title: Haystacks Date:1890 Question: Why could the artist only work on this painting for an hour or two at a time? Use yesterday’s vocabulary word in your writing.

Drawing Warm Up • START A NEW PAGE • Vocabulary: • SHAPE: • An area that stands out from the space next to or around it because of a defined boundary or because of a difference of value, color, or texture. Drawing: Using your tablet, go to www.drawingnow.com. Pick a drawing tutorial and draw it.
