  4. Cultural competency? Cultural competence refers to an ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures.

  6. Cultural competence comprises four components: • Awareness of one's own cultural worldview • Attitude towards cultural differences (c) Knowledge of different cultural practices and worldviews (d) cross-cultural skills.
