8. ‘Energize’ Your Holidays AND Save Money with LED Lighting Using LEDs Christmas lights over traditional incandescent light bulbs will bring you a little extra holiday cheer. The proof is in the numbers: • Decorating a six-foot tree with 280 LEDs (.04 watts each), lit 12 hours a day for 40 days, will cost only 61 cents; • Using 300 mini-incandescent lights (.4 watts each) will cost $6.53; • While using 125 standard incandescent lights (4 watts each) costs $27.21. 9. Chapter History First Chapter Meeting – March 19, 2009 Fully Chartered Chapter – November 5, 2009 Attendance has steadily grown year over year with our largest meeting being this September with 28 attendees.

The AEE is Looking for Mentors The AEE Committee for Women in Energy and Engineering Leadership (CWEEL) , has created a Mentoring Committee to enable our members to work together to enrich our opportunities. Women requesting to be mentored are from all career levels, from early stage to well-established.  They are seeking support regarding a range of issues including entrepreneurial goals, career changes, technical issues, organizational concerns and more.
