  1. Camp Members Honor Local Confederate Defender at her passing. On July 5th, A true Compatriot and Heritage defender for the Confederate Flag, Mrs. Francis Bell had passed away. She rallied in Columbia and along South Carolina welcome centers when the NAACP were so diligently boycotting South Carolina to remove the Confederate Flags from the capitol in Columbia. One of the last Confederate Flags that flew from the capitol in Columbia was draped over her casket. The music “Dixie” was played as the family arrived. Mr. Herman Boland and Frank Stone folded the flag and then Wendell Byars presented it to Mr. George “Billy” Bell (Husband).
