  1. What is the Human Resource Information System project? (HRIS) • Where has your HR department been? • Collaborative project – all seven educational institutions and CUC will be served by HRIS • Kicked off in fall 2016; go-live is January 2018

  2. What is the Human Resource Information System project? (HRIS) • Provide technology for: • HR/compensation • Benefits • Recruiting • Performance management • Security • Long-term absence • Reporting • Payroll • Time and attendance

  3. Workday and Kronos • Both systems: • Include features for convenient, secure access. • Workday Human Capital Management: • One-stop shop: integrates with The Claremont Colleges Workday Financial System • Twice yearly updates ensure the system is always current. • Kronos timekeeping • Replacing current time and attendance system • Simplifies the tasks involved with monitoring employee time and attendance, accruals, labor tracking and data collection. • Helps managers engage their workforce and control labor costs, minimize compliance risk, and improve workforce productivity.

  4. How will I know how to use the new system? • Training is coming in fall 2017 • Videos, in-person, detailed job aids • Representatives from each institution are involved in determining how to best deliver training for their colleagues.
