2.  Word Processor is a software program capable of creating, storing and printing documents. It processes textual matter and organises documents.  OpenOffice.org Writer is a powerful tool for creating professional documents, reports, newsletters and brochures. The document window contains major components such as Title bar, Menu bar etc.  By default, the new document will be saved as a OOo Writer document with an extension .odt (ODF Text Document). To close a document select Close from File drop down menu and the document file will be closed.  To exit from Writer, choose Exit from File drop down menu. The Open Office writer document cov vers the Undo command and the basic editing functions of selecting, moving and deleting text.
