Classroom Management Plan Consequences for inappropriate behavior will be in this order: • 1st: Verbal Reminder • 2nd: Pull Green card- miss 5 min. at recess • 3rd: Pull Yellow card- Red note Report • 4th: Severe Clause: Go to the office • Each day students will start fresh!! Each day students that keep their cards white can earn Monarch Money that they will be able to buy special treats/activities such as treasure box, teacher’s chair, sit with a friend, choose an art supply and more. • Table points and warm fuzzies will also be earned for special group rewards.
Communication • Blue folders with pockets and resource sheets are a key element for your child’s organization and our communication. • Please check the folder nightly for your child’s behavior punch card and homework assignments. • We love celebrating your child’s birthday but due to state regulations we have to follow some basic nutritional guidelines. If you want to bring birthday “treats” in they must be store bought and must be given at the end of the day. We ask that you bring them in about 2:15 and please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. • W e are so excited about working with you and your child to have a successful year in 1st grade.
