3 types of Corporal Punishment 1. Parental or domesticcorporal punishment—typically, children punished by parents or guardians 2. Within schools, when students are punished by teachers or school administrators 3. Judicial corporal punishment as part of a criminal sentence ordered by a court of law. (Included in this is prison corporal punishment)
1. Is corporal punishment teaching kids that violence can be used to solve problems OR is this an extreme view expressed by softies?
2. Can you think of a case when your parent/guardian used corporal punishment & you deserved it?
3. Can you think of a situation where corporal punishment could effectively be used in schools? Or should it never be allowed?
4. Would corporal punishment deter crime & should it be a form of punishment in law?
