Positive effect of the system -International trade - get back the market of Shao Xing Yellow Wine - protection of French GI products • Domestic market - increase of Long Jing Tea sale - more than 70 kinds of products recognized as GI
- National Economy For a country with 900 million agricultural workers, the government should resolve the problems relative to: - agriculture - farmer - countryside GI is an effective stool for valorizing agricultural products in helping farmers to get rid of their poverty.
Problems • According to some learned persons, as GI is a private right, the management and control assured by the State is not necessary. • Problem with certification trademark • Problem with the origin of product: “Made in China”
