Martin Luther King

Martin Luther King, Jr.  (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American activist , humanitarian, and leader in the African- American civil rights movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of  civil rights  using nonviolent  civil based on his  Christian beliefs.

  1. Martin Luther King, Jr. (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American activist, humanitarian, and leader in the African- American civil rights movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil based on his Christianbeliefs. I believe that Martin Luther King is a hero because he helped both white and black people be equal so no one is treated different and unfairly. He also made this work because now whites and blacks are friends and no one is treated different and unfairly. On the 4th April 1968 King was shot dead. He was 39 years old and he had 4 kids. King was shot dead by loyd jowers because he was  planning a national occupation of Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King
