  2. Plot This story gets into motion when a sailor man walks up to the house that Amanda is working in. He had seen her father who is in the New World. Their mother is sick and after that she dies. They were waiting for her to get well to go to the New World but now Jemmy, Amanda and Meg ask their master for their money. She says no and her son kicks them out of the house. After this happens Dr. Crider, who was their mother’s doctor, finds them and brings them home with him. After that Dr. Crider wants to go to the New World and Jemmy, Amanda, and Meg go with him. On their way to the New World they hit a huge storm and Dr. Crider falls overboard!! After that they crash on an island in the Bermuda triangle. After this they build two new smaller ships and finally get to Virginia. After that they go to Jamestown and find almost everyone killed but see their father barely alive, but meg knows it will be all right
